- beehive: Where alcohol is involved, the Swahili/Sheng translation of the word is used to mean a 750ml bottle of alcohol, usually vodka.
- Kanjo: County Government, formerly municipal/town/county/city councils before devolution. Typical Kikuyu pronounciation of the word 'council'. Now a Sheng' word. Kanjo also refers to County Government askaris.
- kisirani: Someone with uncontrollably angry and violent; also a short-tempered person. The word is also used by psychological abusers when you enforce your boundaries.
